Apologies for the silence and scaring 5 people into stalking for my phone number -
I was banned after some very intelligent users decided to flag all my posts and automate a ban -
Note to self : Just phone up eToro and they will unban you and note the users who do flag your posts unfairly - Very good outcome @eToroTeam.
Hoping in the future such instances do not result in a ban and there is some human actually there.
Though I don't recommend opening tickets, you get many different people to talk to and none of them listen to the actual problem.

1. Porn - Yep. I don't mean I went to another website for this - it was live in eToro, some lovely exotic Brazilian images spammed for a few hours. Mods must have had a ton of fun.
2. Users with pesos claiming it's 400k usd. @simonperkin in case you didn't work it out already. $ is the symbol for pesos and USD internationally, he actually has 10k USD.
3. People asking how to unlock higher leverage trades when they can't manage x20
4. Crypto PIs telling you to HODL BTC whilst their largest position is a shitcoin, 2nd largest is another shitcoin at -80% and BTC is a 3% investment, their smallest position
5. Apparently diversification doesn't apply to asset classes, just different tickers. All in 5 different cryptos is effective diversification because they have no correlation.
6. People spamming Jensen nvda share sales as if he doesn't automatically do this at regular intervals and it actually means something. "Oh he sells, let's short"
7. A PI who's username suggests they are intending to be an equal weight crypto portfolio, has his largest position in natgas shorts to "get 800% in refunds" - apparently contango and backwardation isn't a thing.
8. Multiple posts complaining that the virtual account doesn't pay fees. Like guys...you want to lose fake and real money?

Most ridiculous quote I've ever read. Plenty of people have been wrong on timing, it's a 50/50 game. Your theory doesn't need to have a time constraint. Someone investing in apple doesn't care if the stock takes 20 years to reach a new ATH or net then 50k USD profit. If it takes longer they just buy more, which in turn lowers their average entry and makes it quicker to reach their goal
10. PI's telling their copiers they are up 20% this month and in $ terms that equates to about 35k profit realised - in the corner of their screenshot is their club. Bronze.
11. To quote a PI quote of a quote of some famous investor .. " The first rule in the market is to not loose money". Yep, keep it zipped in your pocket.
12. AMC fans are purportedly now all swiftie fans. Yes this is an actual sentence, anything is possible.

16. People complaining about commission fees arriving on etoro, with a poll of 2k users saying they will move to another broker. Sorry to disappoint guys - but PFOF is being banned globally by 2026, you won't find a legal broker not charging commission fees.

21. Somehow my ban arrived at the same time as the quad witching - so I had to scream to myself at how many posts actually talked about a quad witching as if this is actually a thing. Please don't do this next time, I had 7 heart attacks reading some explanations.
22. Ok the final one, and this isn't even a joke, it's an actual headline - THE LATEST BOJ DATA DOES NOT IMMEDIATELY SHOW EVIDENCE OF INTERVENTION ON JULY 17TH. - I will leave this un-explained if you don't get it.
